In February, Newrest Hellas participated in two significant employment events, seeking suitable candidates to join its workforce. On February 9th and 10th, the company successfully participated in the Athens Job Festival 2024 held at the Zappeion Megaron by Skywalker. There, it had the opportunity to connect with talented candidates interested in a career in the catering and tourism sectors. During its two-day presence at the event, the company received positive feedback, with many candidates visiting its booth to learn about job openings as well as professional development opportunities offered within the Newrest Group.
The Company’s next participation in the Career Days with the title “+Ergasia” by Odyssea and Solidarity Now, held at Technopolis of Athens on February 16th and 17th was also of particular importance. The purpose of this event was to serve as a communication bridge between companies and individuals from vulnerable social groups, such as refugees and asylum seekers, who are seeking equal job opportunities to start a new life in Greece. Newrest Hellas, participating in this event, effectively demonstrates all that it advocates for, an inclusive work environment without discrimination and stereotypes, where diversity and equality are fundamental values of its corporate culture.
