An important awarding ceremony took place on the occasion of the International Aviation Safety Day 2019, on Friday December 6th. The ceremony took place at the Sofitel Athens to honor employees working at the Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos” who showed special zeal for airport security procedures.
Among the awardees were two employees of the Operations Department of Newrest Athens, George Dimopoulos and Christos Vanikiotis. The awarding was coordinated by Mr. Dimitris Karambelias, Director of Aviation Safety Division of the Athens International Airport.
In addition to the two company awardees, Newrest’s administration also attended the event. Ms. Roula Skaropoulou, Director of the Athens Central Unit, and Mrs. Maria Hahami, Operations Manager, attended the ceremony in order to honor their colleagues in this important professional distinction and to represent Newrest. It is the latter’s priority to fully comply with all security regulations and procedures, even under difficult and unforeseen circumstances.
