Delicious Surprises at Aegean’s New Lounge in Larnaca

The opening of Aegean’s new Business Lounge in Larnaca, Cyprus, was celebrated with a two-day festive event. The airline’s distinguished collaborating chefs showcased unique dishes, captivating the attendees.

Renowned chefs Lefteris Lazarou, Christoforos Peskias, and Alexandros Tsiotinis, along with pastry chef Stelios Parliaros and Master of Wine Konstantinos Lazarakis, welcomed business class passengers and other esteemed guests to the refreshed Lounge. Their culinary creations highlighted Greek gastronomy through a refined menu.

Visitors had the chance to savor Cypriot and Cretan delicacies, rich with the aromas and flavors of these regions. The menu featured dishes such as Cypriot koupepia, afelia, and Varosiotiki salad, while the sweet offerings showcased Greek flavors, with honey, tahini, and anthotyro taking the spotlight.

 

The experience was enhanced by a selection of exceptional wines from Cypriot and Cretan varieties, perfectly complementing the dishes and blending authentic flavors from Cyprus and Greece.

Newrest team in Larnaca, under the supervision of Chef Pavlos Simotopoulos, had the pleasure of organizing the buffet and producing many of the savory dishes presented at the event, in collaboration with the distinguished chefs. The impeccable organization and outstanding culinary offerings created an unforgettable gastronomic experience for all attendees.
