The staff of Newrest Athens successfully coped with the catering needs that arose during the unprecedented bad weather on January 24, 25 and 26. The snowstorm trapped thousands of passengers and airport staff at the premises of El. Venizelos National Airport, forcing them to stay and spend the night inside the airport and the nearby companies that serve it.
Newrest personnel, with a sense of responsibility, remained at its central production facility at Spata during the emergency and worked intensively to provide thousands of blocked passengers and airport staff with fresh meals, snacks and drinks until the situation returned to normal conditions. In addition, the catering of all hospital units Newrest collaborates with, continued seamlessly during the snowstorm.
